The average rating across the twenty-seven is 4.78, which is high enough that a 4.4 lands near the bottom of this page while it would sit mid-table in most trades. Insurance customers who leave reviews mostly leave good ones. Read a 4.3 here as average, not as a warning.
Two thirds of these offices are in Winder, twenty-one of thirty-one. Five are in Braselton, three in Auburn, two in Bethlehem. Braselton spans four counties, so the five here are the ones whose addresses sit on the Barrow side of the line.
Eleven of the thirty-one carry a carrier's name on the door: five State Farm agents, two American Family, and one each for Allstate, GEICO, Farmers and Georgia Farm Bureau. The other twenty are independent, meaning they can quote more than one carrier. Neither is better. They answer different questions. A captive agent knows one company's products deeply. An independent can shop your risk across several. If you have been with the same carrier for years and your rate keeps climbing, the independents are the ones who can tell you whether that is the market or just your company.
Four agencies on this page have no website at all. That is not a knock on the work, and two of them rank well. It does mean the phone is the only way in.
Because insurance reviews are mostly left by people at one of two moments: right after a friendly quote, or right after a claim went well. The people whose claim went badly usually take it up with the carrier rather than the local office. That is worth holding in mind. On this page a 4.8 is ordinary and a 4.3 is genuinely toward the back, which is not how those numbers read on the roofing or towing pages.
